WEPSA

Regie and I attended a WEPSA meeting last night in Reston. Regie is a founding member of WEPSA which was established in 2007.
From the Mission Statement:
The Wedding and Event Professionals for South Asians (WEPSA) was formed to provide our clients with a source of reputable, experienced professionals committed to excellence and integrity.

If you are interested in more information about WEPSA please click on the link above to visit the website.

We had worked with many of the vendors who are now a part of WEPSA prior to the group's formation. Since the formation of WEPSA, we have had the opportunity to meet and work with several additional vendors.

The meeting was held at the beautiful Manor House at Linden Springs.
A shout out to Melia at Linden Springs for providing us with a wonderful tour of the property, both inside and out. Hope you're feeling better today!

If you are looking for a venue, I recommend you give Melia a call. It's much larger than one would imagine and has many areas that can be utilized for a special event. Outdoor areas can be tented which allows for many options with our varied weather.

Below are a couple of pictures.

We hope to have an opportunity in the very near future to bring our fountains to the Manor House at Linden Springs!

Golden Puppy

If you are in the DC Metro area then you have no doubt heard of the Regeti's. They are a husband and wife team of photographers whose work is simply amazing!

Visit their website to see their work. Check out their blog too.

We have enjoyed working with them several times. It's always a great time with them. We are both members of a couple of networking groups and enjoy seeing them socially as well!

I read on their blog that they have a new family member! Gynger Lynn, the gorgeous Golden!
Here's a photo from their blog:

Those who know Regie and me know our Golden Girl, Sadie. We adopted her in February 1995. It's hard to imagine it was that long ago. She is the sweetest girl ever!
Here she is sunning out by the pool. Although she loves to lay out on the hot concrete, she hates the pool! Some kind of retriever, eh?
I'm sure she's dreaming of chasing squirrels, a favorite sport.

Here's another favorite photo of her!

We wish the Regeti Family many happy years with their girl Gynger Lynn!
Amy and Srinu - please keep us updated with lots of pictures!

Big Thank You

While this new blog simply "appears" before your very eyes, there were some terrific people whose efforts must be acknowledged.

My graphic designer Nancy Carter who makes everything look so amazing. From the initial logo concepts of Capitol Chocolate Fountains 5 years ago to the blog today, Nancy has been an integral part of our success. Should you ever be in need of her services, please contact her.
Be sure you have some time to check out her portfolio.
Many thanks Nancy!

The blog itself was created by the incredible Brock Martin of InfinetDesign. He is a favorite of photographers and once you take a spin through the blog portfolio on his website, you'll completely understand. I love the uniqueness of his creations. As a new blogger, I only hope I do his work justice. I look at his blogs as works of art and am thrilled to have been one of his clients.
Thank you Brock!

Steve Horton of waterfordwebworks has been my webhoster since day one. He has seen the business grow from one fountain to over 30 and hundreds of changes to the site as a result of our growth. He has remained patient with me for which I am eternally grateful.
Please visit his site and contact him should you be in need of his services.
Thanks Steve!

Surrounding yourself with professionals is essential to a successful business. It is important to recognize and acknowledge the professionals who help make your business succeed. So pick up the phone or write a note today to the professionals who contribute to your success!
